Job Title : Senior AI Programmer Analyst

Location : Richmond, VA

Type : Contract

Compensation : $70 - $95 hourly

Contractor Work Model : Hybrid

Senior Programmer Analyst AI and Emerging Technologies

Candidate will be involved in AI related research and development activities. This includes working closely with IT architects, ITBA Product teams, IT Infrastructure Operations, and Cyber Intelligence and Security teams to evaluate new tools and technologies, develop proof of value (POV) solutions, and implement AI solutions within Dominion Energys private cloud environment. Works with multiple business units, in multi-platform environments, on multi-project assignments. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents programs to meet business requirements. Works at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming. Guides and advises less experienced Programmer Analysts.

Responsibilities :

• Evaluate Generative AI solutions from a functional, technical, and risk standpoint
• Development and implementation of Gen AI solutions to solve complex business problems and enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and workflows.
• Collaborate with architects to design, code, test, and deploy modular and scalable AI architectures.
• Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of AI solutions by following coding best practices and performing thorough testing and validation.
• Stay current with industry advancements and continuously seek opportunities to improve AI capabilities within the organization.
• Responsible for building effective working relationships, making sound decisions, successfully making changes, initiating action and achieving results as a trusted advisor.
