Electronic Technician

Scientific Drilling is looking for a Electronic Technician  to join our Applied Technologies Center in Paso Robles, CA . Scientific Drilling is an independent directional drilling and wellbore navigation, surveying and logging service company serving customers in oil & gas and sustainable geothermal worldwide. Our Electronic Technician  will work in our Manufactuing team and is expected to perform the essential duties listed below. Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Tests electronic assemblies using a written procedure.
• Uses multimeters and oscilloscopes to measure voltages and waveforms.
• Troubleshoots test failures to board level.
• Writes failure reports.
• Works with Test Technicians to solve failures.
• Responsible for the electronic equipment and tools in his or her work area.
• Manages work station and practices good housekeeping techniques.
• May be required to work overtime.
• Pursues every job with drive and determination.
• Uses logic to solve problems with effective solutions.
• Performs other relevant duties as required.
