Job Summary The Site Supervisor is responsible for managing day-to-day operations at assigned project sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role provides direct supervision and leadership to site personnel, supports employee relations, and serves as the primary point of contact for clients. The Site Supervisor plays a key role in safety enforcement, workforce management, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Leadership
- Oversee all on-site activities within a specific project, ensuring timely and high-quality completion of tasks
- Provide leadership and direction to foremen, laborers, and support staff
- Support management in all aspects of customer and employee relations
- Supervise, motivate, and discipline employees to maintain a productive and positive work environment
- Conduct job-specific training and ensure proper use of equipment and adherence to safety procedures
- Promote teamwork and clear communication across all levels of the team
- Monitor and control inventory usage and distribution of PPE, ensuring proper usage
Safety Compliance
Act as Safety Captain on site and enforce OSHA, company, and plant safety protocolsConduct regular safety inspections, safety meetings, and ensure a culture of accountabilityWorkforce & Scheduling
Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of qualified team membersSchedule personnel for shifts and assign duties to ensure optimal coverage and workflowManage driver assignments and overall site logisticsEnsure timesheets are completed and submitted promptlyCustomer Relations
Serve as the main on-site point of contact for customersEnsure clear, consistent communication regarding service expectations, project progress, and any issuesAddress and resolve customer concerns professionally and promptlyConduct regular check-ins with customers to assess satisfaction and gather feedback for improvementEnsure that all services provided meet contractual obligations and customer standardsQualifications
5+ years of supervisory experience in industrial maintenance, facilities services, or related fieldStrong leadership, organizational, and communication skillsThorough understanding of OSHA regulations and proven experience implementing safety protocols on job sitesAbility to lead safety meetings, conduct hazard assessments, and ensure full compliance with site-specific safety requirementsAbility to read and interpret work orders, schedules, and technical documentsBilingual (English / Spanish)Valid driver's license and reliable transportationRequirements
