Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med / Surg Telemetry Float position with night shifts and a requirement for a MO or compact RN license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is located in a hospital Med / Surg Telemetry Float Pool setting
  • Role includes floating between Progressive Care, Med / Surg Tele, and Emergency Department Observation units
  • Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM
  • Every other weekend and 50% holiday rotation required
  • Floating to various units as needed, including as Patient Observer (Sitter)
  • Cerner EMR experience is preferred but not required
  • Floating is mandatory and includes assignments outside of the primary specialty as necessary
  • Must work 50% of scheduled holidays during contract
  • Returning travelers must have a 9-month gap between assignments
  • No re-orientation is required if returning within 18 months
  • Locals within 75 miles are accepted at a lower pay rate

  • Active MO or compact state RN license required at time of consideration
  • At least 2 years of nursing experience with 1 year in related specialty required
  • BLS certification required
  • Cerner EMR experience preferred
  • Must reside outside a 75-mile radius to be eligible for full travel pay
