Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Appliance Repair Technician to join our team at Southern Appliances. In this role, you will diagnose and repair appliances. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and has the technical skills to get the job done. Customer satisfaction is a top priority.

Responsibilities:

• Perform function testing on appliances
• Diagnose the issues with the appliances
• Order the required parts to make the repair
• Install the parts and retest the appliance
• Evaluate and diagnose home appliance problems
• Repair appliances
• Adhere to manufacturer recommendations
• Maintain accurate and detailed records

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED
• Associates degree or appliance repair certification preferred
• Previous experience as an Appliance Repair Technician is preferred
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• EPA 608 refrigerant recovery certification to work on air conditioners and refrigerators is preferred
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
• Excellent customer service skills
