American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Woodstock, Illinois.

Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with heavy psych experience and a current Illinois RN license for a night shift assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in the Emergency Department within a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (18 : 00–6 : 30)
  • Weekend shifts are required
  • No on-call required
  • Patients include both medical and psychiatric emergency cases
  • Floating between units or facilities may be requested
  • Must provide two professional references, with at least one from a supervisor, manager, or charge RN within the last year
  • All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application and cannot be changed after submission
  • Local candidates are accepted but those within a 75-mile radius will be paid at a local rate
  • Orientation modules are completed during scheduled shifts, with additional hours requiring prior manager approval
  • First eight orientation module hours are standard; additional hours are partially compensated
  • Vaccination status must be provided prior to consideration
  • Accommodation requests for required vaccines are reviewed on a case-by-case basis

  • Active Illinois RN license in hand at time of consideration
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required
  • At least 1 year of direct Emergency Department experience required
  • Heavy psychiatric experience is required
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required
  • Trauma Nurse Specialist (TNS), Emergency Communications RN, Certified Pediatric Nurse, and Certified Emergency Nurse are preferred
