Title : Director of Nursing (DON)
Location : Larimore, ND 58251
Duration : Perm Role (Full-Time)
Shift : Days 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM (Varied as needed) 40 hours / week
Pay Range : $38.00 – $63.00 / hour + Benefits
Sign-On Bonus : Available (TBD upon offer)
Relocation Bonus : Available (TBD upon offer)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of the nursing department and ensure regulatory compliance
- Manage staffing : recruit, hire, train, and schedule clinical staff
- Develop and manage department budgets and resource allocation
- Participate in state and federal survey processes; develop and implement Plans of Correction (POC) as needed
- Oversee EMR management and clinical documentation, including audits, dashboards, and reporting
- Conduct and supervise assessments, care planning, and resident evaluations
- Ensure timely communication with physicians, residents, and families about care updates and changes
- Enforce infection control, safety protocols, and antibiotic stewardship practices
- Promote a resident-centered care environment, free of abuse and neglect
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement (QA / CQI) processes
- Encourage interdepartmental collaboration and positive team culture
