Exciting Opportunity for an Entry-Level Field Technician!

This position involves hands-on installation and maintenance tasks in telecommunications, focusing on key physical components such as cabling and equipment setup. As a Field Technician, you will gain valuable experience while working under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities :

Installation and Physical Tasks :

Perform tasks including installation, removal, and alterations of telecom equipment.

Run and dress copper and fiber optic cables with meticulous attention to detail.

Set up basic racking systems and equipment.

Testing and Verification :

Conduct lead verification and continuity testing for cables and connections.

Execute fundamental network cable testing.

Tools and Safety :

Utilize hand and power tools effectively while adhering to safety protocols.

Comply with all safety policies and OSHA standards.

Work Area Management :

Ensure a clean and organized work environment.

Assist in site preparation and restoration, including proper waste disposal.

Collaboration and Documentation :

Work collaboratively with engineers, technicians, and customers.

Maintain basic records related to on-site job tasks.

Essential Skills :
