Position : Safety Specialist

Location : Washington, DC (Remote / Hybrid)

10% onsite - must be in a commutable distance

Duration : Contract through Summer 2026 - opportunities for extensions

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of experience of electrical inspections and maintenance from a safety side

Experience with OSHA regulations

Experience with lockout / tagout

Experience with Fall Protection Policy and Safety

Able to conduct regulatory reviews

Job Description

An employer is seeking an safety specialist to sit in Washington, D.C. This individual will be responsible for the safety of various buildings. This individual will be responsible for developing safety plans and programs for support of fall protection, site inspections, site safety and hazardous material handling. They must be able to communicate with the end client in support for both review and development of these safety plans.
