Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our healthcare team in Creedmoor, NC. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients in a rural setting, addressing a wide range of medical conditions and promoting overall wellness in the community.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough evaluations, including history taking, physical exams, and diagnostic assessments
Develop and implement treatment plans for acute and chronic conditionsPerform routine and preventive care, including vaccinations, screenings, and health educationManage common illnesses and injuries, coordinating care for complex cases as neededProvide care for patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatricsCommunity EngagementFoster strong relationships with patients and families, addressing their unique needs
Participate in community health initiatives and educational programsAdvocate for the healthcare needs of the local populationCollaboration and CoordinationWork collaboratively with specialists, nurses, and support staff
Coordinate patient referrals and follow-up careUtilize telemedicine and other technologies to extend access to careAdministrative DutiesMaintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
Support administrative functions, including scheduling and documentationParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to practice guidelinesEmergency CareProvide urgent medical care when needed
Manage a broad range of medical emergencies in a rural settingProfessional DevelopmentStay current with medical advancements and continuing education requirements
Participate in professional organizations and relevant conferencesQualifications :
Education : MD or DO degree from an accredited medical schoolLicensure : Valid NC medical license or eligibility for licensureBoard Certification : Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related fieldExperience : Prior experience in a rural or underserved setting preferred, but not requiredSkills :Strong clinical expertise across a broad spectrum of conditions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and manage diverse patient needsProficiency in EHR systems and related technologiesWorking Conditions :
