About The Position

Job Title : Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

Location : Hendersonville, NC 28791

Contract Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : 8-hour Night Shifts : 10 : 45 PM – 7 : 15 AM

Guaranteed Hours :   Up to 40 hours / week

Job Responsibilities :

Assist in surgeries including but not limited to :

General Surgery, Robotics (Da Vinci), Orthopedics (joint, sport & spine), Endoscopy, Urology, C-Sections, Cataract / Retina, Bariatrics, OBGYN, ENT, and Vascular procedures

Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control standards

Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments

Work collaboratively with the OR team to ensure patient safety and successful procedures

Requirements : AHA BLS – Required

NBSTSA CST Certification – Required

Experience :

Minimum of 2 years as a Surgical Tech

Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment (2 preferred)

Must have direct experience with Cataract / Retina, C-Sections, and Vascular (thrombectomy) surgeries

Other Skills :

Resilient, adaptable, and socially collaborative

Must handle change well and thrive in a high-volume surgical setting
