The Nurse Practitioner :

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team on a contract basis. In this role, you will provide comprehensive care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients' cardiac health while ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations to evaluate cardiovascular health.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical guidelines.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations, including ECGs, echocardiograms, and cardiac catheterization.
• Administer medications, including IV infusions and injections, while monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.
• Provide education to patients regarding their conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care for patients in various settings such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, and assisted living facilities.
• Participate in clinical research initiatives to advance cardiology practices and improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
• Manage acute pain effectively and provide support in critical care situations as needed.

Requirements

Must have Cath Lab or Stress Lab experience
