Job descriptionMaintain a clean, organized, and welcoming workspace — washing utensils, dishes, and surfaces consistently throughout the day. Notify the Bakery Manager promptly of any equipment or maintenance issues. Stay energized and focused while working on your feet for extended periods. Represent the values and mission of Snowy Owl Coffee Roasters in every interaction — with teammates, guests, and our community. Participate in staff meetings and contribute positively to a supportive team environment. Handle all company information with care and discretion. Communicate openly and respectfully with management when challenges arise. Bring curiosity, a willingness to learn, and a sense of joy to your work every day. As a Bakery Assistant at Snowy Owl Coffee Roasters, you’ll be part of a small, passionate team dedicated to crafting pastries that reflect the same care and integrity we bring to our coffee. You’ll work alongside the Bakery Manager to create delicious baked goods that bring joy to our guests each day — and keep them coming back.
Responsibilities :
Opening & Daily Operations
- Ensure the bakery case is fully stocked and beautifully presented by opening time.
- Support the Bakery Manager in producing high-quality pastries, following established recipes and proper food safety standards.
- Refresh and arrange items throughout the day to highlight freshness and encourage sales.
- Assist in restocking ingredients and supplies, and communicate proactively when inventory is low.
- Contribute creative ideas and collaborate on new menu items from concept to final product.
- Share product details with café staff to ensure guests receive accurate and enthusiastic recommendations.
