Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Illinois. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 16 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel License : Must have an active IL license in hand Required Certs : ACLS and BLS required (AHA and Red Cross only; RQI cards not accepted). Experience REQ : MS / Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Tele, PCU / DOU / IMC / Stepdown. Cardiac Skills : Interpretation / Management of dysrhythmias, Post Cardiac Angiogram, Pre / Post Cardiac Cath, Sheath Removal, TR band . Drip Skills REQ : Heparin Protocols, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, PCA (Patient-Controlled Analgesia). IV / Line Skills REQ : Arterial line management, Accessing Ports, Central line care / management, PICC line management, Blood Product Administration. Respiratory Skills REQ : Chest tubes (Emerson / Pleur-evac), External CPAP / BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC). Experience Preferred : Previous Charge Experience, Teaching hospital experience, Level I Trauma experience.
