Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, implementation, and oversight of the hospital’s Risk Management and Patient Safety Program.
• Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analyses to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with medical staff, clinical departments, and hospital leadership to mitigate risks and enhance patient safety .
• Ensure compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC), CMS / DHS regulations, and hospital policies .
• Collect, analyze, and report data related to safety incidents, claims, and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as a liaison with insurance carriers, legal counsel, and regulatory agencies as needed.
• Support staff education and training on risk management principles and hospital policies.
• Maintain documentation, prepare reports, and participate in internal audits and accreditation reviews.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills , fostering collaboration across departments.
