EHS Manager Opportunity
Location : Geneva, NY (between Rochester and Syracuse)
Salary : $110,000 - $125,000 plus bonuses
Relocation : Bonus available for the right candidate
We are seeking a highly qualified Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to enhance safety, ensure compliance, and promote environmental stewardship within our manufacturing operations in the picturesque Finger Lakes region. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated professional to lead and develop comprehensive EHS strategies in a dynamic industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and evaluate EHS program elements, providing strategic direction to site leadership.
- Utilize technical expertise to analyze metrics and improve site safety and environmental performance.
- Act as the EHS subject matter expert, spearheading safety and environmental initiatives.
- Collaborate across all organizational levels, mentoring Operations Leaders to achieve safety objectives.
- Develop and implement procedures to mitigate safety risks and minimize environmental impact.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and act as the primary contact for inspections.
- Conduct EHS audits and align corporate governance programs with regulatory standards.
- Oversee incident and injury reporting, conducting investigations and implementing corrective actions.
- Manage a site hazard / risk analysis and observation program.
- Partner with various functions to create and deliver a comprehensive EHS training strategy.
- Maintain and report key EHS metrics and KPIs.
- Stay informed on relevant regulations and legislation to ensure ongoing compliance.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in EHS, Occupational Health, Engineering, Science, or a related field.Over 5 years of robust experience in EPA regulations, hazardous materials management, and wastewater compliance within an industrial setting.Outstanding communication skills with the ability to inspire confidence at all levels.Proven leadership capability to guide, motivate, and direct high-performance teams.Expertise in safety and environmental management systems.Experience in leveraging AI or related technologies for EHS initiatives.Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent EHS certification.Why Join Us?
