Alaska Regional HospitalTRAVEL-Certified Surgical Tech (701)-days

Start Date : 10 / 20

Assignment Length : 13 Weeks

Shift : 6 : 30AM-7 : 00PM

Experience Needed : Davinci Xi Robotic Spinal Fusion (orthopedic or Neuroservice)_ Orthopedics to include Total Joint Arthroplasty

Unit Information : (Operating Room)

Location : Alaska Regional Hospital

Number of Beds 11 ORs

Shift for this position Three twelve-hour shifts

Call Expectation Based on the number of employees taking call, averaging 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift (Average for 8 week sign up period)

Number of Staff Varies depending on day Type of staff : o Day Shift Average of 8 RNs, 8 Scrub techs and 5 Surgical support techs o Night Shift One charge RN and one scrub tech in house with call team backup

Patient Ratios 1 : 1

Type of equipment Variety of OR beds and equipment EMR - Epic Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for : Scrub tech needs are total joints, neuro and Xi Robots

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Patient advocate Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

Experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s) : Total Joints, Multi-level spine fusions, Variety of Xi Robotic cases (GYN, Colorectal, General) Very little ENT, Dental, Eyes or plastics

Best personality Fit : Positive outlook. Willing to work with team members.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS : NBSTSA , BLS

Dress Code : Scrubs provided by facility

Unit Guidelines / Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. Weekends and On call(if any) Required to take call as stated above.
