Overview of the Role :

The Family / Internal Medicine Physician will be a vital contributor to a healthcare team, providing patient-centered care, conducting physical exams, and formulating diagnoses. This role is a unique opportunity to influence patient outcomes and engage in meaningful patient education, advocating for community wellness. You will play a crucial role in supervising and mentoring medical staff, ensuring high standards of patient care, and fostering a collaborative work environment through quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct detailed patient histories and physical exams.
• Assess clinical status and manage care plans.
• Order and perform laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Administer treatments and medications per medical standards.
• Educate patients on health, wellness, and illness prevention.
• Participate in quality improvement, training, and peer reviews.
• Supervise and mentor Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) and support staff.
• Review and update clinical protocols; maintain accurate medical records.
• Provide after-hour call coverage and contribute to site committees.
• Address and resolve patient and co-worker concerns.
• Assist in updating clinical protocols and procedures.
