Contract Clinical Recruiter

Location : Memphis, TN Area (Supporting Bartlett, TN 38133 and Memphis, TN 38119)

Pay Rate : $30 – $34 / hour

Schedule : Remote with Onsite Events Twice a Month (must be local to Memphis, TN)

Overview :

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Clinical Recruiter to support a leading healthcare organization in the Memphis, TN area. This is a contract role with potential to convert to permanent employment , supporting both Nursing and Allied Health recruitment. Candidates must be local to Memphis and available to attend on-site events twice per month .

Key Responsibilities :

Collaborate with facility Administrators, CEOs, and Hiring Managers to understand recruiting needs and job specifications

Develop in-depth knowledge of each facility’s services, culture, and staffing needs

Utilize diverse sourcing strategies, including online databases, social and professional networks, and targeted research

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified clinical candidates for Nursing and Allied Health positions

Evaluate and screen applicants, conducting structured interviews and ensuring a strong fit with organizational needs

Submit qualified candidates for consideration based on job descriptions and hiring manager feedback

Coordinate interview schedules with both office and clinical teams

Vet candidates thoroughly, ensuring alignment with position expectations and licensure requirements

Negotiate offers and compensation within budgetary guidelines

Support a smooth onboarding process and assist new hires during their transition

Qualifications :

1–4 years of Clinical Healthcare Recruiting experience required

Prior experience supporting Nursing and Allied Health recruitment strongly preferred

Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience

Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills

Must be located in the Memphis, TN area and available to attend in-person events 2x per month
