Reliant Staffing Solutions / RSS Medical is seeking a travel nurse RN Rehabilitation for a travel nursing job in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Job Summary (List Format) :

\n

\n- Position : Acute Care Rehab Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift

\n- Shifts : 3x12 hour shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

\n- Weekend / Holiday : Every 3rd weekend; holidays as needed

\n- Floating : Required between all Cone Health campuses

\n- Experience : Minimum 1 year of acute care rehab experience; no first-time travelers

\n- Certifications : BLS required

\n- EMR : EPIC experience required

\n-\n\n Duties / Skills :

\n- Interpretation of laboratory results

\n- Medication reconciliation

\n- Patient health history, allergies, and questionnaires

\n- Monitoring and recording vital signs (BP, respirations, temp, pulse)

\n- Dressing changes; setup of aseptic / sterile procedure trays

\n- Capillary draws, specimen labeling, throat / urine (clean catch) collection, phlebotomy

\n- Telephone triage, pharmacy calls, patient refill requests

\n-\n\n Patient Population :

\n- Patients with CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, neurological diagnoses, generalized debility

\n- Specialized inpatient rehabilitation care (post-stroke, aneurysm, post-op surgical, etc.)

\n- Patient Ratio : 1 nurse : 6 patients

\n-\n\n Additional Requirements :

\n- Pass / fail EKG exam required

\n- Flexibility with scheduling and floating\n
