Job Description

The Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP), supervised by the CMO, provides specialized wound care to patients in home settings, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.

• They perform assessments, develop care plans, and educate patients and caregivers to promote healing.
• Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing documentation, and coordinating with healthcare teams.
• The role requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, NP licensure, at least 2 years of clinical experience, and wound care certification within 6 months.
• Physical demands involve mobility, lifting, and exposure to varying environments, with travel up to 25% required.
• Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with flexibility, independence, and adherence to safety protocols.
