Registered Nurse - Skilled Nursing

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Skilled Nursing units. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, administer treatments and medications, and support patients in achieving optimal health outcomes. This role requires a current Illinois nursing license and CPR certification, along with strong clinical skills and a commitment to compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care by performing treatments and procedures according to established protocols
• Observe patients and report adverse reactions to medications or treatments
• Administer medications in accordance with policy, licensure, and the State Practice Act
• Respond promptly and safely to patient requests, reporting significant observations to supervising staff
• Demonstrate knowledge of patient care plans and deliver care within established standards and guidelines
• Participate in care planning by providing input and assisting in implementation under RN direction
• Identify emergency situations, initiate appropriate nursing measures within scope of practice, and seek assistance as needed
• Instruct patients in self-care practices according to teaching plans and RN guidance
• Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly
