PC Technician

On-Site

• Position Overview :

The PC Technician provides on-site technical support for all hardware and systems within a manufacturing plant. This role involves setup, configuration, installation, and maintenance of desktop computers, peripherals, and mobile devices for both production line and office personnel. The technician will also support network servers, industrial printers, and manage hardware inventory.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Provide on-site desktop support for hardware and software in production and office environments.
• Configure, install, and maintain end-user computers, peripherals, and mobile RF devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with desktops, phones, printers, and network devices.
• Implement and maintain network servers, including user account management.
• Deliver break / fix support for network, server, and end-user devices.
• Support industrial printers and ensure functionality across production lines.
• Track hardware inventory and manage e-waste processes.
• Perform imaging and re-imaging of computers as needed.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

• Physical Requirements :
• Operation of personal computer equipment.
• Occasional stooping, crawling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. for installation or inspection of network devices and cabling.
• Ability to climb ladders to reset wireless access points.
• Ability to climb man ladders up to 20-25 feet (some with cages, some without) to access catwalks and mezzanines, often while carrying hardware for replacement.
• Skills & Competencies :
• Desktop support and troubleshooting.
• Break / fix support for hardware and software.
• Printer support and maintenance.
• Windows 10 support.
• Basic networking knowledge (routers, switches).
• Imaging and deployment of computers.
• Additional Notes :
• Primary responsibility is keeping production computers operational.
• Must be comfortable with ladder training and working at heights.
• On-site presence required daily.
• Opportunity for training into a lead role with potential for full-time conversion after one year.

This is a Contract position based out of Tipp City, OH.

• Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00 / hr.
