SUMMARY :

UIHS Physicians provide comprehensive medical care to clients of United Indian Health Services (UIHS).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Specialized / Advanced Inpatient and Outpatient Clinical Duties – may provide via contract specifics

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :

This job has no supervisory responsibilities although the physician will direct the work of others as it relates to client care. If applicable, the Physician will supervise individual physician assistants or work as collaborating physician for individual nurse practitioners in accordance with UIHS policies and procedures.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE : All post-doctorial residency training must be done in an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) approved residency training program.Physician I :

Have Board Certification in a Primary Care related Fellowship from an AMBS approved Board.

Physician IV :

Have greater than five (5) years clinical experience after Fellowship Board Certification in an AMBS approved Board .

COMPUTER OPERATIONS
