Job Duties :
This training role will begin as a part-time position and will evolve into a full-time opportunity based on training needs.
Complete training to become a Safety Care Instructor and facilitate Safety Care classes as needed for new hires and recertification classes for current employees
Conduct ABA trainings with new hires and current staff to ensure our staff feel competent to provide high quality therapy
Provide behavior support as needed and educate staff on those safe practices to manage crisis behaviors
Provide training to RBT trainers while training new employees ensuring they are using standards set in the training manual
Host a regular meeting with training RBTs and location specific trainers
Complete initial and renewal competency assessments
Complete RBT Evaluations
Create and organize training materials as needed
Prepare Orientation materials
Oversee the completion of the training process for new hires, including but not limited to : adequate training with clients, completion of the mock exam, and proper documentation of completing the tasks
Assist with training schedules for new hires as needed
Assist with RBT supervision logs as needed
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Competencies :
Clinical expertise in the areas of ABA, autism, social skills, behavior reduction, and parent training
Excellent organized written consultation notes and paperwork as well as oral communication skills
Ability to take initiative, work independently, and demonstrate excellent time management skills
Demonstrated leadership skills and relationship management
Self-development, problem solving, as well as seek support from other team members
Provide ethical and evidence based interventions
Requirements :
Certified and maintains credentialing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) as an RBT in good standing
Ability to provide ABA therapy to clients as needed up to 40 hours per week dependent on need
Meets and maintains BACB RBT supervision requirements
At least a level 2 RBT
Attendance must not exceed 4 points
Provides and maintains a clear criminal record provided by the state law enforcement agency or Federal Criminal records check system
Input data, information, daily therapy session notes and other applicable items into electronic data system
Valid driver’s license
Reliable automobile
Be able to work with any client, regardless of location, schedule or level of difficulty
