  • RN Pulmonary – Gainesville, FL Employment Type : Full-Time, Permanent Shifts : Nights, 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (rotating weekends) Compensation : $30.69 – $43.20 / hr (based on experience) 2 years : $30.69 / hr 5 years : $33.71 / hr 17 years : $43.20 / hr Differentials : +$4.25 / hr (Nights) | +$3.00 / hr (Weekends) Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 (Days) | $25,000 (Nights) Relocation : $2,500–$5,000 (100+ miles) Overview We are seeking an RN Pulmonary Nurse in Gainesville, FL.

This 45-bed unit provides care for patients with pulmonary and complex medical conditions, offering a collaborative work environment with a 7 :

  • 1 nurse-to-patient ratio.
  • Nurses here gain broad experience in respiratory and medical-surgical care while advancing their careers.
  • Responsibilities Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to pulmonary and medical-surgical patients.
  • Conduct assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient status.
  • Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Uphold hospital standards for quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.
  • Qualifications Current RN license in Florida or Compact state.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within the past 4 years).
  • ADN / Diploma required; BSN preferred.
  • BLS required at start; NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days; ACLS within 6 months.
  • Compensation & Benefits Up to $43 / hr plus night and weekend differentials. $25K sign-on bonus for nights; $15K for days.
