Overview
Pioneering Evolution is seeking a motivated Mid-Level Full-Stack Developer to support the development of secure and modular backend services for a mission-focused federal software platform. This role offers growth in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, working alongside senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will build and maintain services that meet compliance, audit, and performance requirements while contributing to the evolution of backend development practices.
Key responsibilities include :
- Develop secure, scalable backend components using .NET Core, aligned with performance and compliance goals.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code maintainability and system reliability.
- Collaborate with frontend, QA, and data engineering teams to deliver fully integrated software features.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and technical planning discussions to support sprint objectives.
- Document backend logic, service interactions, and data flows to promote traceability and team knowledge.
- Engage in the continuous improvement of engineering practices, with a focus on maintainability and quality.
Required Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.Minimum of 3 years of full-stack development experience using .NET Core and any modern front-end frameworks.Strong understanding of RESTful API design and secure coding standards.Familiarity with relational database systems such as PostgreSQL.Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional team environment.Must be available to work full-time and on-site in the Washington D.C. metro area.U.S. Citizenship and active Secret Clearance are required.Desired Experience
