Urban Salt Community Acupuncture is a non-profit, 501c3 clinic that started in Long Beach, CA- Now expanding to Orange County. This new office is opening 10 / 2025 on the border of Santa Ana and Tustin, CA.

We are opening 2 positions to support and treat our patient community. This is a part time to full time acupuncturist position (2-5 shifts per week). We prefer acupuncturists that are just licensed or in their first year of practice; this is a nonprofit, so after 30 hours per week, the clock for Public Service Loan Forgiveness starts . We are here to KEEP ACUPUNCTURISTS IN PRACTICE past the first 5 years. You'll learn good habits now.

You are expected to manage JANE, our Electronic Health Record, interact with our clients via email and phone, coordinate timing and logistics between acupuncturist and clients, and educate yourself on our clinical offerings, herbal and retail product lines.

You will be PAID 65% of what we collect for the treatment, and 15% of whatever herbs are sold. It's a flat rate, so what you make depends on your comfortable pace. We are not here to burn you out or force you to sell herbs.

Our office is very fast paced and efficient which requires an applicant to be physically able to handle prolonged periods of standing, sitting and timely paced walking between various exam tables and chairs. Excellent charting, multitasking skills, creativity, attention to detail, and enthusiasm working with people are super important. Efficiently caring for our patients is what sets us apart and drives our success. Privacy for our patients is also a must. All patients are protected under HIPAA, and we expect compliance.

Work hours : 12-40 hours per week with room to grow

Again, this is work for a contracted acupuncturist- You'll be responsible for :

• Treating your patients in a community clinic COLLABORATIVELY
• Charting within 24 hours of treatment
• Emailing patients with their treatment plan regularly
• Interacting with our non-profit board closely
• One social media post collaborating with Urban Salt Acupuncture weekly
• One class to teach patients through Zoom quarterly that you will be PAID FOR
• Self-management, including setting your own hours, lunches, holidays, and vacations remaining consistent in treatment for patients
• One three- to four hour shift monthly performing our FREE CLINIC hours that you, the provider will be PAID FOR
