Job Details : \n

  • Work 8-hour day shifts between 0600-1930 with majority of shifts being 1100-1930

    • \n

  • 40 guaranteed hours per week

    • \n

  • 13-week contract length

    • \n

  • On-call requirements : 1-2 times per week, every 4th to 5th weekend (Friday 1700 to Monday 0600)

    • \n

  • Weekend and holiday coverage as needed

    • \n

  • Float requirements to Waukesha Memorial and Oconomowoc based on census

    • \n

  • Minimum 2 years of Day Surgery RN experience required

    • \n

  • At least 1 travel contract completed preferred

    • \n

  • Current EPIC charting experience within 6 months required

    • \n

  • Orthopedic service line focus (40% of total volume)

    • \n

  • Proficiency with Orthopedic Hana table required

    • \n

  • Experience with total knees and hips procedures

    • \n

  • Cataract procedure experience

    • \n

  • C-section circulator role experience

    • \n

  • Care for orthopedic and medical surgical patients

    • \n

  • Cover OB c-sections and all hospital inpatient / outpatient surgeries

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, Wisconsin RN License

    • \n

  • Blue scrubs provided

    • \n

  • Associate degree or certificate required

    • \n

  • Holiday rotation requirements apply

    This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive surgical department providing both inpatient and outpatient surgical services. The facility specializes in orthopedic procedures, making up a significant portion of their surgical volume, along with obstetric services including c-sections and general medical surgical cases. The organization maintains 24 / 7 surgical coverage with dedicated on-call teams and utilizes current EPIC charting systems for comprehensive patient care documentation.
