    • Position Overview :

    We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to oversee the general upkeep and repairs of residential and commercial properties. This hands-on role requires proficiency across multiple trades including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. The technician ensures that all systems function properly, responds promptly to service requests, and helps maintain a safe and welcoming environment for tenants.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Routine Inspections and Preventative Maintenance

  • Conduct property inspections to identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance such as HVAC filter changes, equipment lubrication, and leak checks.

    • 2. Repairs and Troubleshooting

  • Complete maintenance requests involving plumbing, electrical, appliances, lighting, heating / cooling, and structural repairs.

    • 3. Tenant Service and Communication

  • Interact respectfully and professionally with tenants, responding promptly to concerns and requests.

    • 4. Emergency Response

  • Be available for emergency calls including water leaks, electrical outages, or urgent repairs.

    • 5. Inventory and Equipment Management

  • Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies; ensure all items are in working order and reorder as necessary.

    • 6. Compliance with Safety Standards

  • Ensure all repairs and installations meet local building codes and safety regulations.

    • 7. Coordination with Property Management

  • Work collaboratively with property managers to schedule, prioritize, and document maintenance tasks.
  • Assist in preparing vacant units for new tenants and support property renovations as needed.

  • A strong alignment with our Core Values
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
  • Proven experience in property maintenance or facilities management
  • Proficiency in general building systems : plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry
  • Skilled with hand and power tools
  • Effective problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Physically able to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects
  • Availability for emergency on-call support
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
