Job description

AlliedTravelCareers is working with Patterns LLC to find a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) in Auburn, California, 95602!

About The Position

Responsibilities : Patient Assessment :

  • Conduct thorough evaluations to determine patients' functional levels, needs, and goals.
  • Analyze medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests to develop appropriate treatment plans.

Treatment Planning :

  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments, patient goals, and clinical guidelines.
  • Set specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound goals for each patient.

    • Therapy Implementation :

  • Provide physical therapy interventions to help patients achieve their goals and improve their physical functioning.
  • Utilize therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, modalities, and equipment to enhance strength, mobility, balance, and coordination.
  • Educate patients on exercises to be performed at home to facilitate continued improvement.

    • Progress Monitoring :

  • Regularly assess and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.

    • Education and Support :

  • Educate patients and their families about the therapeutic process, goals, and expected outcomes.
  • Provide guidance on adaptive equipment, assistive devices, and environmental modifications to facilitate independence and safety.

    • Collaboration :

  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, doctors, and nurses, to provide holistic care.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.
