We are seeking our first Controller to establish and lead the accounting function. This is a hands-on role at the start, responsible for managing daily accounting operations, monthly close, and financial reporting. As we scale, you will grow and lead the Accounting team, implement processes and systems, and serve as a trusted partner to the CFO on strategic financial initiatives.

Requirements :

• Own and execute the monthly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules, for CFO review.
• Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and contribute to corporate reporting packages.
• Manage all transactional accounting (A / P, A / R, payroll, expense reporting) with accuracy and timeliness.
• Serve as the primary contact for external auditors and tax advisors; oversee annual audits and tax filings.
• Manage cash receipts, collections, and banking relationships.
• Partner with the CFO to deliver financial insights, KPI reporting, and ad hoc analysis to support decision making.
• Continuously improve processes, controls, and systems to scale with company growth.
• Build, mentor, and lead an Accounting team as the business expands.

This role is 100% remote; however, we are only open to US or Canada candidates at this time.
