P&C Underwriting Manager

A company is looking for a Manager, P&C Underwriting.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the underwriting unit, ensuring compliance with guidelines and timely processing of applications

Monitor productivity and adjust assignments to meet service-level agreements while providing coaching and training to underwriters

Develop relationships with marketing departments and facilitate input to Actuarial on pricing and products

Required Qualifications

5+ years of insurance industry experience

Associate or Bachelor's degree in underwriting, risk management, business, or related field preferred

Leadership experience preferred

Professional designations such as ALMI, FLMI, FALU, or CPCU are preferred

Ability to work full-time in an office environment
