MOMS Clinician, MOMS Partnership

• CAMBA is a community of staff, volunteers, clients, donors, neighbors and partners who work together to build an inclusive New York City, where all children and adults have access to the resources and supports, they need to thrive.  We take a comprehensive approach by offering more than 180 integrated programs in : Education & Youth Development, Family Support, Job Training & Employment Support Services, Health, Housing, and Legal Services.
• We reach almost 80,000 individuals and families, including almost 13,000 youth. CAMBA serves a diverse cross section of New Yorkers from new mothers in Brownsville to job seekers in the Rockaways.
• More than half of our clients are immigrants and refugees from around the globe.
• Over 85% of our families are living in poverty, reflecting the challenges faced by nearly 1.7 million New Yorkers today.
• The MOMS Partnership Clinician is a mental health professional and member of the MOMS Clinical Team who delivers or co-delivers (with the MOMS Community Mental Health Ambassador or CMHA) MOMS programming.
• The MOMS Clinician provides participants with light-touch clinical support related to mental health and wellbeing, such as making referrals to additional support, if needed.

If applicable, the MOMS Clinician takes the lead in screening potential participants for eligibility based on clinical eligibility criteria.      Position :

Minimum Education / Experience Required :

Experience working as a therapist or mental health clinician with adults Experience conducting standardized mental health assessments with adults Experience providing manualized and / or group-based mental health treatments / programs Experience working with diverse populations and cultural competence skills Excellent organizational, communication, and team-work skills; dependability and flexibility Basic computer proficiency and aptitude for learning new computer-based applications / programs Other Requirements (preferred) :
