Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Catheterization Lab - $2,363 per week in Columbia, SC

Shift is 4x10s, from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM. Patient ratio is 1 : 1. Weekend coverage is required, with one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per month. On-call requirements include one weekday every week. Floating between service lines is not required. Candidates with less than two years of experience may be considered. Previous charge experience is preferred. Experience with charting systems is necessary. Community hospital experience is required. Candidates should have experience with cardiac stent placements, circulating procedures, diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, and interventional catheterizations. Additional required skills include monitoring procedural sedation and the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. The unit performs peripheral and coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures. Daily census is approximately 20 cases. There are five procedural rooms in the unit. Candidates should be aware that during hurricane season, they may be assigned to emergency response teams.
