JOB SUMMARY

The Multi-modality Sonographer performs any combination of basic to advanced ultrasound services and procedures for patients, which may include : ? abdominal, Ob / Gyn, cardiac, vascular, musculoskeletal and small parts.? This position examines the patient?s clinical history in order to identify the purpose of the examination, frames the clinical questions that the examination is intended to answer and expands the examination as necessary to answer clinical questions.

 Reg Diag Medical Sonographer (RDMS)

 Reg Diag Med Sono-Abdomen (AB) (RDMS-AB)

 Reg Diag Med Sono-Breast (BR) (RDMS-BR)

 Reg Diag Med Sono-OB / GYN (OB) (RDMS-OB)

 RDMS-Pediatric Sonography (PS) (RDMS-PS)

 Registered Vascular Tech (RVT)

 ARDMS in (AB) or (OB) or RVT (ARDMS) : Must have TWO of the following in separate specialties :

ARDMS – RDMS : AB, BR, OB / GYN, PS, FE

ARDMS – RVT

ARDMS – RMSKS

ARRT – S, VS, BS.

 Basic Life Support (BLS) : BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
