The physician will manage a variety of emergency cases in a facility equipped with an emergency department. Job Details Location : Illinois Facility Type : Non-designated Trauma Hospital, Critical Access Start Date : Sep 20, 2025 LOA : 10 days Provider Type Needed : Emergency Medicine Physician Schedule : Aug 31st - Days / Nights Sep 20th - Days / Nights Oct 26th - Days / Nights Schedule for Nov & Dec is being finalized. Providers can choose between 24-hour shifts or 12-hour shifts. Responsibilities and Duties Provide immediate evaluation and management of emergency patients Perform all lifesaving procedures including : Intubation Ventilation management Central line placement Arterial line placement Ensure comprehensive specialty coverage in coordination with hospital and clinic services including Oncology, Orthopedics, Urology, Pain Management & Anesthesia, General Surgery, Gastroenterology, Pediatrics, and Internal Medicine / Hospitalist roles. Additional Information Must be licensed to practice in Illinois EMR System : Athenahealth The role demands strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic emergency setting.
