Emergency Medical Technician

Job Summary : Join our team as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to provide critical and compassionate pre-hospital basic life support care and transport for the sick and injured. You will operate within the established standards of practice to ensure timely and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct thorough patient assessments for signs and symptoms of illness or injury.
• Administer essential basic life support care in accordance with protocols before and during transport.
• Ensure safe handling of patients into and out of the ambulance.
• Safely transport patients to medical facilities and provide accurate care information to receiving medical personnel.
• Document patient conditions and treatments accurately in EMS run reports.
• Maintain equipment and perform regular inventory checks to ensure readiness.
• Drive the ambulance safely in emergency and non-emergency situations, adhering to all company and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in mandatory meetings and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist in the training of EMT-Basic students and new hires as directed.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned to support the operation.

Qualifications :

Physical Demands : This role requires standing, walking, lifting, and the ability to work in various outdoor weather conditions and emergency scenarios. You will need to manage patient transport and equipment with care, ensuring safety at all times.
