Schedule: 360 Hybrid, full-time (1,850 hours expectation)

Salary: Estimated base range of $265,000 to $390,000

Bonuses often span $25,000 to $75,000+ based on independent and team performance.

The Client:

Amlaw 2 0and Global law firm seeking an associate with 3 to 7 years of experience with specialization in asset-based lending and financial management for burgeoning NYC client-base consisting of major financial institutions, commercial sponsors, corporations and commercial lenders/private equity groups.

Description:

You’ll lead and support sophisticated asset-based financings—covering equipment, aircraft, shipping, infrastructure, and more—drafting credit facilities, advising on syndications, and guiding clients through complex negotiations. Expect significant exposure to deal structuring, cross-border transactions, and advisory responsibilities. Growth and client-facing opportunities are robust, with a clear path toward senior-level partnership.

Qualifications:

• JD from ABA accredited law school with NY bar admission or eligibility to waive in.
• Three (3) to seven (7) years of experience as a licensed attorney.
• Proven experience in asset finance, secured lending, structured credit.
• Superb legal drafting and analysis of contracts and transactional documents.
• Ability to manage tie-lines between internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Client service orientation and interest in developing deep finance-sector relationships.
