Loudoun County Department of Family Services is looking for a talented and energetic leader to become the next Child Protective Services (CPS) Program Manager. This person will join a committed CPS team within a diverse department dedicated to promoting health, safety, and well-being for everyone. Job Summary
As the CPS Program Manager, you will provide vision, leadership, and oversight for the CPS program. This includes guiding staff who receive and validate reports, investigate or evaluate allegations of child abuse or neglect, and deliver in-home services to families at high risk of recurrence within a 24 / 7 response environment. You will play a pivotal role in aligning services with the Department's strategic vision while complying with all federal, state, and local mandates and regulations. Using evidence-based tools, family engagement principles, and trauma-informed practices, you will ensure children are safe, families are supported, and services are delivered effectively and compassionately.

Commitment & Availability
Successful candidates must be available to work beyond the standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed. This position is classified as essential personnel and requires reporting to work during countywide emergencies (e.g., weather events, disasters, or other operational needs). Work may also be required at alternative county locations.

Compensation & Incentives
This position qualifies for a $3,000 hiring bonus under the County's Hiring and Retention Bonus Program.
HIring salary will be commensurate with experience
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a field related to the assigned program or department; five (5) years related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; one (1) year of supervisory or team lead experience. D epending on specifically assigned department / program, a m aster's degree in a related field may be required.

A Criminal background check, DMV, and credit check required. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential (driving records may be reviewed annually).
Pass Child Protective Services (CPS) check
Hold or obtain First Aid / CPR certifications at hire or within four (4) months.
