Specific areas of accountability are : successful management of human resources, sound fiscal management of the rehabilitation department to achieve established business goals; and the continual development and improvement of clinical program to meet optimal patient outcomes and the goals of the organization. In addition, the Rehab Director is responsible for delivering patient care within the scope of practice. Rehab Directors are responsible for assuring compliance of all state and federal laws pertaining to Healthcare delivery from their rehab team.
