Description :

The position involves providing high-quality nursing care in a telemetry unit.

Candidates should possess strong skills in telemetry monitoring and patient assessment.

The role requires effective communication with team members and the ability to respond appropriately to changing patient conditions.

Nurses are expected to collaborate with other staff members, including Certified Nursing Assistants andCharge Nurses.

The unit typically has a patient ratio of 1 : 4 to 1 : 6 during day shifts and 1 : 5 to 1 : 7 during night shifts.

Typical procedures include administering IV fluids, tube feeds, peg feedings, and IV antibiotics.

Attendance at shift huddles is required for effective communication and coordination of care.

Nurses will work every other weekend or complete six weekend shifts per pay period.

Nurses must adhere to established guidelines and policies while maintaining professionalism and teamwork.
