Loudoun County Fire and Rescue (LCFR) is a combination career / volunteer organization comprised of approximately 807 employees and 800+ active operational and administrative volunteers. The Department is a growing organization that serves a large and diverse population located approximately 30 miles northwest of Washington, DC. We provide a full range of emergency and non-emergency services for 440,000 residents within a 520 square mile area. Job Summary
The Department's Buyer serves as the primary purchasing liaison, handling procurement activities in compliance with County and state policies and laws. The successful candidate will provide broad procurement and inventory management support as an outsource buyer to the Department.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, preferably with coursework in procurement, business, accounting, computer science, or related field; one (1) year related work experience in procurement of supplies and services with experience working with automated systems; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
