About the Role
As a key member of our iOS team, you will develop and maintain the Hinge iOS mobile application. Youll focus on implementing new product features, fixing issues, and enhancing the user experience using Swift, Core Data, and other Apple frameworks. Youll collaborate with product managers, technical project managers, designers, data engineers, backend engineers, and QA analysts, working closely with the Tech Lead and peers to advance our product and contribute to our engineering community. This role offers high?impact work, directly contributing to a consumer app used by millions.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with a diverse team of developers, designers, and product managers to build features that prioritize high quality and user engagement.
- Develop and continuously enhance your understanding of Swift fundamentals, applying them to create efficient and effective solutions.
- Gain a thorough understanding of iOS development principles, Apples Human Interface Guidelines, and architectural design patterns, applying them to build intuitive and user-friendly applications.
- Triangulate, debug, and effectively resolve software issues, ensuring the stability and performance of our application.
- Actively contribute to the long?term health and evolution of the codebase, implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
- Regularly perform code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Engage actively in team ceremonies such as stand?ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives to ensure alignment and promote agile methodologies.
- Maintain clear and positive communication with team members and other departments, supporting an empowering and inclusive team environment.
Qualifications
35 years of professional iOS development experience, demonstrating the ability to design and implement mobile applications effectively.Experience publishing at least one application on the App Store, demonstrating understanding of the deployment process.Proficiency in Swift and strong understanding of iOS SDKs and frameworks.Good foundation in software development principles and ability to create efficient and maintainable code.Strong communication skills, able to collaborate productively with technical and non?technical teams.Ownership and quality focus; pride in delivering high?quality user experiences with attention to detail.Experience with SwiftUI and Swift Concurrency is a plus.Benefits
