Position Type :

Rate : Open & Negotiable

Shift : In clinic 8a 5p, 24-hour in-hospital call coverage

Start Date : As soon as credentialing is complete

End Date : Position Details :

Patient Population : OB / GYN low and high risk pregnancies, gynecologic patients

Setting : Clinic, hospital, and call coverage

Responsibilities : Outpatient clinic, inpatient hospital coverage, labor & delivery, gynecologic procedures, and call

Required Procedures :

Routine deliveries (vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for C-section)

Complicated deliveries (C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs)

Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations

Office / minor gynecology (IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.)

Surgical gynecology open procedures

EMR System : Epic

Support Staff : RNs, MAs, CSR, 2.5 APPs in clinic, 2 OB / GYN physicians, shared call with family health center

Days Per Month : Varied, based on schedule and call rotation

On-Call / Weekends : Yes 24-hour call

Submission Requirements :

Board Certified Required

Michigan License Required

BLS, ACLS Required
