Job description

Our client, located in Salisbury, NC , has an opening for a Manufacturing Process Engineer with Plastics Molding Experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Work closely with Technical, Quality, Production, Maintenance, and Purchasing team to resolve issues, lead process safety and implement improvements.
Support safe and consistent manufacturing processes
Responsible for Facility Process continuous improvement.

Development of processes for proto-types and production.

Establish training programs and monitor their effectiveness.

Manage installation of new production equipment.

Set-up process for prototypes and production parts.

Work with Manufacturing to improve productivity and efficiency.

Assist Quality Department in setting Quality standards and work instructions.

Oversee Operations Process training programs, quality, production & maintenance

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Experienced in developing clear and detailed work instructions.

Demonstrated experience in identifying areas of improvement and managing the associated change process.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, and delegate tasks as needed to meet objectives.

Minimum experience required : 3-5 years Plastic Molding Experience; Industrial maintenance.

Bachelors Degree or Associates (Technical) Degree with related experience.

Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF16949 and ISO 14001

Demonstrated experience in identifying areas of improvement and managing the associated change process.
