Since 1988, Heritage Oaks has played a crucial role in the mental health system of northern California.

As a 125-bed acute psychiatric hospital, we provide comprehensive treatment services tailored to teens, adults, and senior adults. Our services encompass substance abuse and chemical dependency treatment, accepting Medicare and most commercial health insurance plans. We prioritize service excellence, ensuring each patient receives optimal care.

We're currently seeking an  Adult Psychiatrist or Child / Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our Inpatient / Outpatient team as an Independent Contractor .

Position Details :

• 125-bed Freestanding Behavioral Health Hospital : A well-established facility with a strong reputation.
• Flexible Schedule : Finish rounding and leave for the day, promoting work-life balance.
• Manageable Caseload : Work with 12-14 patients, including 1-2 admissions, for quality patient care. This position is heavy on the outpatient with  inpatient treatment.
• Diverse Payor Mix : Offering financial stability and varied patient populations.
• Lucrative Compensation : Enjoy potential income ranging from $300-450K+.
• Responsibilities : Include medication management, admissions, follow-up visits, and treatment team meeting attendance.
• How you stand out : someone who is a certified internist and psychiatrist and / or is substance board certified.
