Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer | RF Systems | Software Defined Radio | TS / SCI Clearance Required
We are seeking an experienced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer to join our cutting-edge team working on advanced Software Defined Radio (SDR) systems and wireless protocol development. This position offers the opportunity to perform innovative research and development on real-time signal processing solutions within the Intelligence and Defense sectors. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in RF signal processing, digital communications, and software development, with the ability to work independently on complex systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement engineering solutions to collect, process, and exploit RF signals in real-time environments
- Perform advanced digital signal processing including detection, estimation, demodulation, and signal analysis
- Develop and optimize signal processing algorithms using C / C++ and Python on Linux-based systems
- Create modeling techniques, proofs-of-concept, and prototype solutions for Software Defined Radio (SDR) systems
- Transition prototype solutions into fully operational systems for deployment
- Conduct cutting-edge research and development on wireless protocols and protocol processing systems
- Collaborate with distributed teams on complex RF signal processing projects
- Utilize code management tools (Git) to maintain and version control software development projects
- Document technical designs, test results, and system specifications with clear written communication
- Work autonomously on challenging signal processing problems within the defense and intelligence communities
Required Qualifications
Active TS / SCI Security Clearance (required)Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related technical field (or equivalent professional experience)Proven experience developing engineering solutions for RF signal collection, processing, and exploitationStrong knowledge of digital communications theory, including detection, estimation, and demodulation techniquesDemonstrated ability to develop modeling techniques, create proofs-of-concept, and deliver operational systemsProficiency in C / C++ and Python programming for signal processing applicationsSystems development experience within the Intelligence and Defense communitiesHands-on experience with code management systems (Git or similar version control)Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to document technical workCapability to work independently and without direct supervisionPreferred Qualifications
