Responsibilities
Teaching strategies will be incorporated to foster student learning, success, and retention. Adjunct faculty will work with other faculty in support of curricula improvement as appropriate to promote students' success and mastery of course and program competencies. The person in this position will plan, organize, and teach classes as assigned. Flexible hours, days, and assigned campus location may vary due to enrollment.
Qualifications
Required : Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Speech OR Communication, OR a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate credits in qualifying fields such as Communications, Forensics, Interpersonal Communications, Linguistics, Mass Media Communication, Oral Communication, Oratory, Persuasion, Rhetoric, Speaking, Speech, or Speech Pathology. Note : Drama / Theater are typically not acceptable subject areas for Speech.
Desired : Understanding of a learning-centered teaching approach, teaching experience, and professional certification.

Compensation
Hourly rate per course contact hour varies by degree : Bachelor’s ($44.76), Master’s ($48.65), Doctorate ($52.49).
