Job description

Your Role With Us : Lead CT Tech

Key Functions :

  • Provides technical CT leadership and guidance
  • Performs both CT and X-ray exams and selects appropriate radiation exposure factors according to body area, body habitus, and patient condition
  • Documents exam for each case
  • Operates and cleans Imaging equipment, following safe operating procedures as recommended by original equipment manufacturer
  • Utilizes the Radiant Radiology system. Inputs procedure requests and changes in the Hospital Information System (EPIC) to input procedure requests and charges
  • Assists with other duties as assigned

    • Background / Expertise :

    Experience :

  • Two (2) years’ experience in CT required; Five (5) years preferred.

    • Licenses / Certification / Registration :

  • Must be licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) in radiography
  • Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
  • Must be licensed in CT by the OBMI OR registered in CT by the ARRT.
  • Requires BLS from the AHA within 90 days of hire
